I got my order, but no grab bag Angry emailing them NOW!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 21/03/2006 14:03

its taking the piss a bit i think.....

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 21/03/2006 14:06

i even lied in my email saying that i had let down some "customers" because of the wait in supplies.

ITS CRAP I TELL YA!

PeachyClair · 21/03/2006 14:09

That's a shame, i got my order really quickly- and e-mailed them telling them they ahd good reviews (up to this point!) on this website- seems to have blown it for themselves.

OP posts:
Pixiefish · 21/03/2006 14:16

Dior- I think the grab bag was for a limited number of customers cos when I looked at the site a second time the offer had gone.

Seems a shame as I was well impressed with the papers and the service

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 21/03/2006 14:18

i doubt ill get my grab bag either tbh.... even though i placed my order when the offer was advertised. Surely its false advertising if they dont state it was for a set number of people?

Pixiefish · 21/03/2006 14:48

I Know JARM- it's unfair as well. I have to say though that i ended up fairly well off through it. The postage alone was over £4 and all I bought was a 8x8 scrapbook and some brads which came to about £15. I got loads of free papers and the clips

cheltenhamgal · 22/03/2006 09:50

dont mean to rub it in but I got mine and the papers were lovely. Just wanted to say a big thanks to peachyclair for her support with my dd and also aggiepanther. did start a thread under behaviour but dont think anyone has seen it

PeachyClair · 22/03/2006 12:18

Thanks cheltenhamgal.... hows things now tw?

Thanks peachey!

I still havent had a response to my latest email.... certainly wont be using them again.

They either refund my £11.50 or send me the goods..... 3 weeks is FAR too long to wait.

PeachyClair · 22/03/2006 12:44

I am the QUENN of replies!! Worship at my feet, for I have THE POWER....
Hi Clair,

I'm sorry that you and some of your friends are disappointed but I have responded to several of them regarding my situation here and they can interpret that whichever way they see fit.

I was totally overwhelmed with the several hundred orders that I received due to the special offer and I am not exaggerating when I say that I have worked from 7am until 11pm for many of the past 14 days or so. This volume of orders could not have been predicted and that is why we ran out of some of the more poular items.

I have 2 very part-time friends who helped me out over that period and all 3 of us worked extremely hard to deal with all of those orders. But, being merely human, we can only do our best and of course mistakes do get made.

It is a truism that those who complain do complain the loudest, but we have tried to do our very best considering the circumstances, and fortunately I have had many emails from those who are happy with our service and the very good deal that they received.

Once again, I can only offer my sincere apologies to those of you who were disappointed.

Regards, Mandy

lol.... well done hun.

shame i dont get answers that quick!!!!

Ah well.... whats another few weeks when ive been waiting 3

pootlepod · 22/03/2006 13:43
Sad

I do not doubt that they have had a lot of orders and have worked very hard to get them out- but I emailed then yesterday with my parcel query and I haven't heard when it will arrive- that's what I get fed up with. I like to think I am a reasonable person but I ordered these items on the 6th March in good time for my birthday present from DH and 16 days later it has not arrived.

I also complained to them that the voucher discount was not as clear as it could be- again not a complaint as such but hopefull more as a pointer to help their customer service for next time.

Perhaps I should learn to shout louder, but that is not my style.

cheltenhamgal · 22/03/2006 14:00

peachyclair , I cant believe the difference bless her, although I have probably just tempted fate there. I just now need to sort out re selling the house. How are you and yours ?

PeachyClair · 22/03/2006 14:00

From the e-mail I basically got that you would have to shout to get anything.... so do it. you're not being awkward just doing as they advised.

PeachyClair · 22/03/2006 14:03

OK thanks. Sam is back at BIBIC tomorrow for a re-asessment which will be interesting, others are all OK as ever! I may have the one dificult one, but I appear to have ben blessed with 2 very easy ones in compensation. Or is it just relative

OP posts:
jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/03/2006 11:21

Right, supplies have arrived, but 5 background papers missing.... just says refund of £1.62 but when would i get this?!

also - whats this stamp thing all about?!

PeachyClair · 23/03/2006 16:23

The stamp is their loyalty card scheme, that's all.

When you get the refund (that happened to me but as longa s they pay I guess) and how depends on how you paid them

OP posts:
pootlepod · 23/03/2006 17:38
