How to keep the kids artwork? Scrapbook recommendations?

I have an enormous pile of my kids artwork that I would love to sort through (mixture of A4, A3 and other bits and bobs). I want to keep the best stuff in a way it will be nice for them to look back on. One friend suggested a big plastic box but that seems a bit messy. Another suggested ELC scrapbooks which are quite large and colourful but they seem to have been discontinued!

Any ideas? I have searched for scrapbooks online but can only find very boring ones or arty ones for 'professional' scrapbooking, neither of which is what I'm after.

We use an online gallery for DDs stuff - they even give you tips on how best to photograph it & lots of competitions too.

Thanks that's a nice idea but I want to keep at least some of the actual pictures themselves.

Any other ideas...?

We've framed some larger pieces and added some of the smaller ones to make a collages. Got a couple in ds1 bedroom and one in the hall upstairs.

The smaller ones we love, we've collaged too. Loads on one wall in ds1 room. Some in the kitchen.

But I think the best thing to do is frame them. Not going to get ruined then or age the same.

Also, when I was at school I had a desk in my bedroom. Did a piece of art my dad loved. He got a piece of Perspex to fit the desk. Put the artwork underneath the Perspex. Was lovely (in hindsight of course) Wink

As with Boysabove

& also DD covered some A4 ring binders in cloth & decorated them with bits & bobs she liked, feathers, sequins, braid etc & I filled them with those A4 clear pockets - she keeps a lot of her best/favourite old art pieces in those - every now & then she really enjoys looking back through them & remembering the things, people she painted - its also great for her confidence - looking back & seeing how much she's improved :)

On top of that I part covered a wall in the kitchen with cork tiles & repainted it to match the rest of the wall - added a little fancy name tag "DDs Gallery" at the top for her & she pins her favourite pieces onto that - just about to redo her bedroom & intending to do another heart shaped one in there too
