Pricing at Craft Fairs

I was just wondering how people tend to price things at Craft Fairs.

I'm about to do my first big fair and I know approximately what I want to charge for each item but I'm not sure whether its better to keep everything simple by pricing in round numbers ie £10 each etc or whether its better to use the normal sales technique of making things appear to be better value by pricing them at £9.95 or £9.99.

Incase it makes any difference some of the items I sell will be sold on the day but my main business will (hopefully) be from personalising my items which will incur postage costs too as its not something I can do on the day. So for postage I'm planning to charge £3.95.....

Any advice would be appreciated :)

I used to charge in round figures, that way you save on faffing about with change.

Thank you teanosugar :)

That's what I was thinking as it makes things so much easier :)

I think that I wouldn't want anyone to try and fool me at a craft fair-so round numbers. Bizarrely, postage I reckon is better at the £3.95 style pricing. Can't really explain why Confused

Thanks for your feedback Molehillmoutain :) I reckon postage pricing like that works best too. Sticking with the round numbers for craft fair pricing too as it seems easier all round :)
