Good felt tips for a 7 year old

DS will be 7 in a few weeks and has asked for 'felt tips that are not all dried out' for his birthday.

He does draw a lot so I wanted to get him some decent ones, maybe thin and thick for outlining and colouring. Have seen lovely looking Djeco ones in a local toyshop, does anyone know if these or any other brands are particularly good?

They are indeed the ones. DD is an only so no little'uns to knacker them. She just has to share them with me when I fancy a bit of therapeutic colouring.

We use Berol at school. Very happy.

I got my DD's the Staedler pens and pencils a few weeks ago and they are great. No sign of drying out and nib still OK. My 2.5DS has also got hold of them and they have survived unscathed! :)

we have the muji small ones in a clear pencil case for travelling etc, Fantastic value and last for ages.

Crayola all the way here-they really, truly wash out. They have great packs of 24 which seem to go half price in tesco quite often (£6 to start with). If they are really trustworthy then berol are the absolute best -last ages (except brush tip).

My dd1&ds1&dd2 has the staedtler fineliners&felt pens&colouring pencils. Caran D'Ache is really good my younger two prefer the staedtler and my oldest loves the Caran D'Ache range.
