Hi everyone,
i'm wondering what to do with my son's artwork. I was thinking of creating a photo book on one of the sites such as snapfish or blurb or similar. Has anyone else done this? Do you think creating a photo book is a good idea?

I would just make a nice box to put it in.

Until you decide, a concertina type wallet folder might serve you well. Ours have one each and it's really quick and easy to put stuff in.

Exoticfruits- I wanted some way of orgainsing it.
Molehillmountain- yes that's quite a good idea, but i'm looking for something that's a little bit special!

What does anyone else think?

A photo book is a lovely idea. My friend did one of her DS's artwork and it looked fab. I'd loved to have had a record of stuff I drew when I was little and it's much easier than keeping the originals (unless of course you have the next Picasso on your hands Grin)

MrsDobalina- I quite agree a photo book, would be a nice way.
Anyone else got any thoughts?

I have framed a couple of his pictures and hung them on the walls but also need some where to store the rest of it, some of it is quite large!!!
so will watch this thread for any other ideas, need something that will last our moving around quite a lot!!!

A photobook is a lovely idea, but quite expensive.

For organising purposes, why not just scan in the pictures and keep them in a PowerPoint file or similar? You can add notes about where/when he did them, etc. You could then print them out onto A4 if you want and keep in a lever arch file. Much neater than trying to keep all the originals,

Actually, I'm going to start doing this myself!

A photo book seems a nice idea. You have to bear in mind that you will be the only one interested. As I said, I have a box of the best in the loft, but I am the only one who ever looks at it!

I have also seen a picture of where someone scanned all the artwork, shrunk them and arranged about 50 or so evenly spaced on an A0 sheet (big, anyway) on PowerPoint then got it printed professionally and framed. it looked really amazing. Haven't yet worked out how to make links to pictures but will try if you're interested.
