i think you may need to aseal the plaster with a glue/water mix.

ChampsOnIce · 18/12/2005 00:13

sand it a little with sandpaper or emery board

RTKangaSantaMummy · 18/12/2005 00:14

So if I use PVA glue and water and then paint over the top that will work will it ???

Thanks

think so, but leave it to dry overnight when u use the glue/water.

RTKangaSantaMummy · 18/12/2005 00:15

have you made it work with sandpaper?

The pot is quite thin so can't afford to take much off iyswim and it is on the inside

dont sand too much, just to get vasaline off.

i dont want it to go wrong tho so maybe try the pva route instead

RTKangaSantaMummy · 31/12/2005 18:33

just to update

covered in pva glue and then painted again and it worked

Thank you

Oddly enough, I'm going to have this problem with the wallpaper in DS2s bedroom... I assumed I'd have to repaper the whole thing.
