I bloody can't see what I am supposed to do with a Seagull, Lighthouse, Dynamite( supposed to be driftwood) and a crappy fence bit. It's crap.

Want me to go on. I live by the sea, and the seagulls are bastards. QueenEagle you have an unlimited invitation to do target practise. The driftwood looks like F*8king dynamite and the fence is shite. As for the lighthouse....

UCM - that could be the next card challenge.

ALl to make a card from the Coastal set.
The Coastal 2 set doesn't look as bad, I have to say !

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:15

Do you want to buy it? From me, never been used.

£1.50 ?

DingleBells · 17/12/2005 23:15

How about my "dog bone and bowl" die!! it was a freebie so I shouldn't complain.

I would love to see what others can make of that one. Every other die I have had is tried out straight away, not exactly inspired by that one though!

Perhaps our next challenge should be "the most useless embellishment swap!"

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:16

It sits there staring at me as if to say, you are not creative, you tart, now go away and make a sunflower by hand!!!

I reckon we all must have at least one thing that we bought & don;t know what to do with it

I have 3 rolls of the stuff sequins are cut out of & a sheet of pressed flowers !
Now there's a challenge

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:18

ding, I have to say that I bought these off of ebay thinking that it was a die. Instead I got a load of naff looking dogs/bones/kennels. I actually sent these as a prize for one of the card comps on here. (Mrs F I am sorry)

Whizzz, have you used your non-stick card yet? I made another card with mine...it went down a treat!

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:19

Oh, beware I bought some lovely card (self adhesive) ie put the backing off. It doesn't work in a sizzix sidekick. Beautiful silver/gold glitter effect.

ChampsOnIce · 17/12/2005 23:21

Pixiefish -- is your sizzix new? i had to use it a few times. i cut the sizzlets in mine no problem and use card with it.
you can try usin a shim(thin piece of card) with it to see if that helps.

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:22

I meant to say pull the backing off. It seemed to get caught in the die

ChampsOnIce · 17/12/2005 23:24

UCM · 17/12/2005 23:25

Pixiefish · 18/12/2005 17:23

champs- my sizzix is fairly new as the last one i had developed a crack in it and the chap i bought it off swapped it for me. the mat is a few weeks old though ans it cuts ordinary dies. Think I will have to try a chim with it- it may well be that it's not getting 'enough' grip cheers

ChampsOnIce · 18/12/2005 18:52

no probs.

just out of curiosity, did your old one cut the sizzlets ok?
