Crochet? Easier or harder than knitting?

I've (sort of) mastered the basics of knitting, but I'm not exactly good at it. DO you think it'd be worth trying to learn to crochet? Or is my ineptitude with knitting a sign I shouldn't bother?

Occasionally I have to google how to do a stitch but even then it's not difficult.

I'm a crochet convert, find it a lot easier and quicker to crochet than to knit, but I enjoy both. If I only had an hour though I'd do some crochet over knitting personally.

I need to look for new patterns now I have done a few basic things. I've only been doing both since last summer, well knitting from last summer, and crochet from this winter.

I've figured out chain stitch! Very happy about it and my lovely gran was very pleased when I showed her my efforts! Now, onto single crochet, is it? :)

well done! TBH, all the basic stitches are pretty much the same from single crochet with the only difference being how many times you wrap the yarn over the hook before sticking it through a loop. :)
I believe there are more complicated ones too but i have not stumbled across those yet.
