What would your ideal craft storage be - I have an opportunity to choose <squeee!>

Dh is giving up some of his office (he works from home a couple of days a week) for me to have some storage for my craft stuff - fabric/wool/felts/beading/sewing basket etc! The width of the space is approx 1 metre and the depth is 50cm, height wise the ceiling is the limit!
I'm so excited to finally have my own space, at the moment my craft stuff is in boxes/bags/baskets all over the house driving me mad and making a mess!
So, any suggestions as to what I could get? Budget is probably £200 ish but less would be better ....but if there was something ideal I might be able to eBay a few bits to make up the difference Wink

Oh I used to be an aficionado of the old sticky border and cheerful colours. I've gone all farrow and ball in my old age - I still like colour though - no white walls for me.
Stitch this - i've spent the best part of the last few days searching around on eBay and my children will be delighted to know we are going to a big second hand furniture shop this morning Grin
Green goose - your feelings about your sewing machine are quite understandable

Actually to link a bit with another thread here on Mollie Makes, the interiors feature this month has the most beeeeoooootiful haberdashers drawers. I lust after quite like them too. It's a saved search on MyeBay Blush. totally out of my range but I live in hope.

Thanks fatstanley. In my defence it was actually used as a computer cabinet. We've had laptops for years now though and I have dragged it round when we've moved house, convinced it would be useful again one day. Then I got the idea from a sewing book. The author's obviously looked nice and neat and v shabby chic. Rather than just shoved in randomly like mine is!

mmmmm haberdashery drawers........ I dream of finding some at our local cheapo auction. It will never happen.

Oh I think I have died and gone to <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=haberdashery+drawers&hl=en&client=safari&sa=X&tbo=d&tbm=isch&prmd=ivns&tbnid=DT_mtRTYVPeqpM:&imgrefurl=www.antiques-atlas.com/antique/vintage_haberdashery_drawers_restored/as175a060&docid=EVgjJ1cCIo9G8M&w=500&h=667&ei=nHw7TqGlC87OsgaFtKTYCA&zoom=1&biw=1024&bih=690" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">haberdashery heaven now if I could just up my budget by £1000 pounds.... Grin

No luck at the second hand furniture shop yesterday - nothing that was quite right and all too expensive. Also missed out on a dresser on eBay by £2 while I was out - argh!!
