They seem incredibly cheap or am I a bit mad.

I emailed these people about 2 hours ago and got a reply from the bloke that owns it. I can't believe it. He said that the paper for cards should be about ..... hang on have to look for it. I can't believe the bloke is still up.

I originally emailed them and told them that their delivery is a bit slow and needs to hurry up. Many people are waiting to order but need to know if their cardstock is ok.

His reply

The optimum GSM should be between 250 - 300 for cardmaking.Anything under 220 is far too low.

Wow, I am in love. Does this mean that my 75 quid was well spent.

Stuff arrived. Most of it is fantastic. The deckle/hammered stuff plus envelope are wicked.

Mulbery paper not as thick but will probably do a better job as will wisp more.

Galaxy cards, lovely thick card.

Cello bags - well er cello bags

Pearlescent card, lovely thick card but not much pearlescence going on. Baker Ross is better for the sheen/colour.

Gingham/heart/small flowers backing Papers - beautiful.

Some of the backing papers ie beer & christmas ones, not as sharp as I'd have liked.

Roses backing paper subtle(unlike me) and lovely.

All in all am thrilled. oh and champagne flutes, not very glittery which is sad as I ordered 50 instead of 5

I don't do BJ's.....but could if it got us a discount!!! !!!

For instance

5 x A4 green gingham papers 78p. less than 20p a sheet

25 x A4 baby pink gingham 3.92 16p a sheet

A4 Mulberry paper in all colours 23 p a sheet

10 A5 purple (barney purple) with silver flecks 22.5p a card

25 deckle edged, hammered 10cm & 21cm 20p a card.

I think that they are reasonable but take my word for it on the pearlescent card. It's not all that.

I definitely wouldn't be BJing for the christmas backing papers. Might for the vellum though
