Iron-on Transfers

I'm thinking of buying plain cotton bags and decorating to sell in the Summer. Some tid-dye and perhaps transfers as well.

Is it as easy as it looks (on the videos) to make your own transfers, and is there much wastage ironing them on or is it pretty fool-proof?

Or does anyone know any cheap sites to buy transfers? It looks like it would be cost-effective to make my own, but not by a massive amount.

I've used those iron on sheets you can get from the supermarket that you use in your printer, so you can get an image off the computor.
They're great.
You have to remember that it come out in reverse though if there's any text.

Thanks. It looks like a fun thing to do with my children if I don't get into selling. I hadn't realised how easy it is to do.

Have a look into freezer paper stencils, they would probably look better than iron on transfers if you want to sell them. Iron on transfers often look home-made.

I have heard that freezer paper stenciling is the way to go...

I've looked tutorials on the internet that show freezer paper stencilling and it looks far too labour intensive for doing to sell, and also way too stress inducing. But probably a lot cheaper.
