Have you got a poundland near you???
apparently they have packs of scrapbook papers and embellishments in there that are really good quality!
Baby boy and girl, wedding and general 12x12 papers...all for a £1.

Not got one near me so if anyone gets chance to pop in and have a look would you grab me a set of each and I'll pay you back.

Thanks.

Had a look at these in Croydon but didn't get any - my personal opinion is that they looked cheap (the scrapbook sets). They had lots of different varieties though.

What did look good were packs of embellishments (stickers) about 8 per pack for £1. By the tills

AuntyQuated · 12/10/2005 12:38

they only had one, a wedding one so i got it.

the quality of the 12x12 paper is fairly good, pretty standard i'd say.

there are some OTT stickers but that may just be this particular design. the girl said they are regular stock and not a special thing so i will keep my eye out for others.

they had loads of stickers that SD mentioned; i bought a pack with ballons in.

for newbies trying out christmas cards they had some lovely packs, by the door, of christmas bits. they weren't the "STICK THIS ON" variety, just christams coloured bits and bobs to make your own stuff with. they had those in quite a few colours.

i will wait JM to see if they have any more as it isn't worth sending you one pack. i will try again on friday.

also got toothpaste, handwash, haorspray, Parazone loo things that i usually pay over £2 for and all for a quid each. and DS picked up a 100% naff remote control car that is exactly as you would expect for a pound.
