Fun and Games?

Would anyone like to take part in a night of crafty fun?

Ive just spent the whole weekend taking part in an online challenge and it was great brilliant.

So I thought maybe we could do a smaller version here if any of you crafty mums want a bit of a giggle.

It would be fun and games for a couple of hours one night.

The sort of thing I was thinking is as follows.

A game of online crafty BINGO

Make a card in 30 mins

and a few other ideas I have floating around my head.

If you are interested then add your name and a night that would be best for you.

The quiz questions are written and will be mailed to you just shortly after 8pm.

I am going to start a new thread from 8pm. To make life easier it would be fab if you could all let me know on that thread that you have received your emails.

The questions are fairly easy and should not take too long for you to answer.....unless you get side tracked that is
You need to mail me back with the answers by 8.30pm.

BINGO will be at 8.45pm on the dot. Make sure you have your list of words that you have chosen and sent to me. I will post each word as it is drawn and you tick it off your list if you have it. The winner is the first person who correctly ticks off all of their chosen words and posts the word HOUSE.

9pm will be the cardmakers challenge details of which will not be emailed to you until 9pm.
You will have 30mins to make and upload a card to the gallery. I will post a link to the album that you should use, in the list of details.

9.40pm will be the treasure hunt folowed by the announcement of the winners at 10pm.

Really not sure what I can take part in tonight!! I think the card making challenge is definately a no go! I have all my front room furniture piled in front of my craft stuff, the front room is in a very bad way, had the fire place ripped out and the "framework" of a recess boxed up ready for re-plastering. The electrics have been off nearly all day and the front room is still a no go area for Amelia.

Still plan to be here though! I defo need that glass of wine...in fact I really need it now...been a rather stressful day.

My Dh also thought very funny then got excited about doing soldering.

I mean! Soldering!

Hopefully I can get DS in bed by 8 !

The card challenge is not difficult....you will just need the very basic cardmaking items....dont worry about it to much as its just for fun but for a good cause which I'll tell you about later in your emails

UCM I will try and remember....the problem I have is that there are two of you with very similar RL names and your email addys are almost the bloomin same!!!!!

Have DS bathed and looking very angelic. All white blond hair and rosebud lips. DH home at around about 7. From then am locking self into room. Have already indulged in a slurp. I think that should be mandatory.

Sorry to anyone that can't be here. But TBH it's circumstance sometimes. If DS was ill, then I wouldn't be here either.

Oh and a mate popped round earlier and asked what time was I going to my art class. Some people just don't listen. When I told her it was online. She said 'thats one way to have a social life'. I laughed and agreed.

Yep, I have wine too, though it's weightwatchers (surprisingly delicious!). Don't know why I am bothering, compulsorily veggie for a few days so eating fatty things anyway as otherwise too complex for my miniscule brain.

Will we get a bit of time for the card, as my art things are in an outbuilding, do I need to fetch them now? (bucketing down!)

Just got back from DS's karate! They are doing a fun week theme of Jackie Chan/Bruce Lee so on top of all the upheaval of decorating during half term [madness]I have been cutting up material for bandanas (sp?)and sashes and painting dragons and Japanese writing on little boys arms.
Just ordered a take away and should really be helping DH strip the rest of the walls ready for plastering......will check the "schedule" and see what I can join in....

...I will join in the wine tasting event whatever !
