1920s dollshouse - what to do?

Way back in the 1920s my grandmother and her sisters had a dollshouse made for them. It's about 5ft long, is in three sections plus has a garage.

It was passed from my grandmother to my mother and then to me. At present it is in storage as, although I have many happy memories of playing with it (and lots of beautiful furniture), it's far too big to fit into our first floor flat.

My mother is happy for me to sell it (she grew up in enormous vicarages so space was never a problem) but I'm not sure I want to. Equally it seems silly to pay for storage for something my DDs might never get to use. In an ideal world I'd like to loan it to a museum until such a time as we have space for it (within the next 5 years) or loan it to a museum who will let me visit it or perhaps loan it to a dollshouse fanatic who would enjoy restoring/redecorating it and would be happy to receive what I pay in storage for materials but be willing to part with it at some point in the future.

Do any of you know how I might go about finding a keen dollshouse person (with a big house!)? I've tried the museum of childhood in Bethnal Green but they aren't able to accept any more houses.

Thank you!

You could maybe get one of those dolls house enthusiast magazines - they probably have a small ads section, or you might find someone to contact for advice.
