acrylic paint on hands?

Probably a silly question! I'm wanting to make some Christmas decorations with my toddler. Before I get started, what's acrylic paint like to get off fingers? Is there anything I'll need to use to remove it? Thanks.

You can peel it off.

Are you planning to paint with your fingers? Kids usually do but I would not recommend finger painting with acrylic paint as it is not a non-toxic paint.

Its not too bad, used to paint on my fingers in art class when waiting for inspirationGrin, doesn't really come out of clothes/ off surfaces very easy though

Hmm. Was thinking of painting with fingers. What other paint would stick well to baubles?

Ecos Organic Paints sell big and small pots of non toxic paint. I remember buying from them a varnish mathpot. You can see the matchpots here www.ecosorganicpaints.co.uk/store/matchpots/testers/cat_9.html
I emailed them once and was told they were going to sell paints for toys. May be they do it now already.
Or if you want to use acrylic then you could paint the baubles with the base colour and then help your child to add some colours on the top with a brush.

I would use regular poster paints mixed with PVA glue. Will be cheaper and easier to get off things. The glue should help it adhere to the bauble.
