Ideas for decorating fabric bags

Hello,
I am in the process of sorting out dd's party and want to do fabric party bags that the guests can decorate. I have bought a bulk load of fabric crayons from ebay but was wondering what else to provide?

Not sure if sequins would be too fiddly and buttons need sewing. Any ideas for things I could use or places I could buy stick-on decorative thingies?
Thanks!

Fabric glue can be used to stick stuff on.

As for whether sequences are too fiddly i think it would depend on the children's age.

There are lots of stuff that can be got. Fabric pens work quite nicely but you already have the crayons.

might come back to this if i can get my brain to work.

Thanks! Most guests will be 5-6 with a couple of 3-4 year olds so maybe big sequins will be OK.

put some paper in the bag (to make sure pens don' run through) and use permanent pens (sharpies are great) to design and colour, nicer than crayons

you can get dylon puff paints that you paint on then 'puff' with a hairdryer, may be good for novelty factor

Like the idea of the puff paints - already have the crayons so might not be able to stretch to Sharpies as well (unless I resell the crayons on ebay!)
Good tip on the paper, thanks!

you can also get glitter & pearl paints from the same sort of places as the puff paints, must good haberdashers will stock a range

also from experience with a similar mask making project, I would recommend having an adult use a glue gun to attach sequins (Argos have a cheap 1) buttons, rhinestones, feathers, felt shapes, lace trim, or any other craft bits you choose,

sticks instantly - so no waiting for over thick glue to dry, which is usual when kids do it themselves, so the bags will be dry & ready to go when the Kids are, & also opens up being able to use any bits & bobs you choose

good luck :)
