Went to Hobbycraft 'just for a look' and bought some beady jewellery making stuff ! Just a bit to have a go.

If it's a hit I may well combine the two & make jewellery cards !

Argh - another sideline to prevent me from doing the ironing

I make more money from the sale of my jewellery....but I love card making and noway could I give it up.
Jewellery making is faster....but card making I find so much more rewarding.

I just enjoy card making more. All my friends make jewellery and we swop ideas, materials etc.

None of them card make....they all think only old ladies should be card makers....I dare not tell them that I have started to do cross stitch

I used to do cross stitch before DS !

lol, lolts of my work collegues are surprised and even laugh when they see me with craft mags, most dont think their mine. i'm the only one of my friends who are into crafting... oh well they don't know what they're missing.

whizzz i'm not good with pricing either, i'd pay between £5-£10 for a card with earings on but would be happy to pay a bit more for a set say with earings, bracelet and/or necklace. you would have to price up your materials and labour to make sure you dont take a loss.

ty for mulberry tip, the last time i tried i used the pull away method and it was terrible. haven't had the guts to try again, will do soon as i have a few new baby cards to make and have an idea for a baby girl card that will use mulberry paper.
