1 in 30 result today - CVS tomorrow. Can't stop crying.

Not sure what I'm hoping to achieve by posting this - am terrified, and I suppose I'm hoping to hear from someone who's been where we are now and had it all turn out okay?

What should I expect from the CVS? Feels like it's happening too fast to really think about it...

Any advice/stories would be appreciated x

In my first pregnancy I had odds of 1 in 22 and unfortunately I was the one....
In my second pregnancy my odds were even worser 1 in 17. I crumbled and could not stop crying as I was sure that I was the one again, but I got the all clear.

It is a very very difficult place to be in... I wish you strength.

We've had our results though this afternoon and amazingly we have been cleared for Downs, Edwards and Patau syndrome. I cannot quite believe it at the moment. We'll need to wait for the full results to check all the other chromosones and will have a further scan around 18 weeks to double check there are no other problems.

Monkeybumsmum, I hope you are OK, I feel awful telling you that I've had good news and just hope you are doing OK.
