I have been worried about the downs and Edward's test results I received. For my first baby (pregnant in 2021 I received a letter saying I tested negative and also it was 1 in 50,000 chance) for this baby it did not say anything about being negative and instead said I was 1 in 5,000 chance for both and 1 in 1,000 chance for my age. I've read online that the benchmarking for results has changed and wanted to check that this was the case as 1 in 50,000 to now 1 in 5,000 is very different - should I be concerned about this?! Thanks

No, you should not be concerned.

No you shouldn't be concerned, 1 in 5000 is the lowest chance you can get now!

In my first pregnancy in 2022 I had a 1 in 100,000 chance, so I would have panicked a little initially at 1 in 5000 if I hadn't just found out that it was now the best result!

No

The chance is generally going to go up as you get older. My risks were higher with my subsequent pregnancy, but she's fine.

No this is the lowest chance you can get in the current way of reporting results
