anyone waiting on NIPT results

Had mine done Sunday afternoon (ultrasound direct) and the wait is just torturous . Wondered if anyone else is currently in the same situation

Can I join in? Had mine done on Friday 14th and hopefully results will be back by this Friday. Haven't had NT done but went straight for this at 10 weeks due to my age (46) and I like to have more accurate results so I can hopefully relax a bit. This is a surprise pregnancy so feeling very off kilter with it all but seeing the scan for the nipt was lovely and made me start to feel it was more real.

Thank you @Frenchie1204 definitely remaining positive. The lady that did it said the results are sometimes back in less than a week so on tender hooks now!
Did anyone else get their due date changed? As mine was private I'm not sure whether to use my new one or the one bast on my last period. The new one has me 4 days ahead so 12 weeks on Sunday eek

@Daisypod i think the wait time is around a week but great if they come back quicker for you. Yes my due date has changed 3 times 😂 from my last period, a private scan and 12 weeks scan but all within 5 days. I’m just using the nhs one from 12 weeks scan x

I've got my results back, all low risk so that's a relief. We're going to tell the kids tonight, not sure what their reaction is going to be! I also got a confetti canon from the place I had the nipt to tell us the babies sex, i know some people think these are naff but I haven't found out yet and we will all find out together this way and I thought it would be a nice way to get the kids feeling involved.

Had my results through today and came back really good! 1/1400 - sigh of relief considering my age. Praying for all you other mothers that your results bring you good news too. Happy weekend xx
