Hello, I have a thread on special needs and I'm on one of the pregnancy threads where I'm getting support but just looking for some more support or information.

My PAPP-A was very low. 0.3. The nuchal fold at thirteen weeks was 2.7. Baby was also measuring three days small.

This gave us a raised risk of downs as well as a slightly raised risk of Edwards and pataus. The downs risk is the highest though.

We had the NIPT on Monday and hoping to hear back next week. The midwives who counselled us on the test were lovely but realistic.

I'm terrified of a chromosomal abnormality at the test but also scared of one not picked up. I'm very scared of losing this baby. It's through icsi and took us three years to conceive.

Your NT results appear to be in normal range.

Unless they observed an abnormality in your scan, e.g. cleft palate. Then I wouldn't rush to panic.

I've seen worse indications come back as completely fine results.
