I'm 9 weeks and 6 days as I had my ultrasound today, does this take you back to the date you conceived and also is the date you conceived the same date as intercourse?having a debate?

I don't know if I'm being thick but that doesn't make any sense to me 😂

This reminds me of a scene in Bridget Jones Baby when shes not sure who father is

Sorry!

No, it's roughly the date of the first day of your last period. Although this isn't an exact science as some women ovulate early or late in their cycle.

Ahhh got it now!
Goes off LMP
Date conceived isn't the always the day you had intercourse

9 weeks and 6 days gestation would be approximately 7 weeks 6 days from conception, give or take a day or two.

Conception does not necessarily happen on the day you have intercourse as egg can last about 24 hours following ovulation and sperm can live for several days

Only the 12 week NHS scan "recalculates" your due date of your baby is measuring ahead - my twins due date was brought forward by 5 days which if you used the new gestational age to calculate when conception happened it would have the immaculate conception (IVF pregnancy - absolutely know when "conception" occurred)

Date you conceive is not the same as date you have intercourse - speak can live up to 5 days in the uterus so you could have sex and not actually conceive until nearly a week later
