Can't agree with husband on whether to have amnio

Hi all,
I'm 18 weeks into quite a complicated pregnancy.
Blood and NT measurements suggested I'm high risk for a chromosomal abnormality. I'm leaning towards having an amnio, but my husband doesn't think it's worth the risk.
I guess I'm just wondering whether anyone had been in my position as I don't know what to do.
Thanks.

Really pleased to hear your updates OP Smile What a massive relief for you, both.

Hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful and easy!

Thanks all! There's still a couple more hurdles to overcome for our twins (the most likely cause of the increased nuchal was/is the dodgy placenta which they share) so I don't think I'll be able to truly relax until they are here, but even so we are very happy and relieved with the result of the amnio. I definitely feel more relaxed than I did a few weeks ago!
Thanks all for your kind messages and support.

Great news OP!

Best of luck to you in the rest of your pregnancy. A twin pregnancy brings so much that a singleton pregnancy doesn't so make sure to mind yourself as well Flowers
