Can someone make me feel better please? 🤣

I'm unwell with some horrible cold and chest infection and my terrible 2's son has been testing me all morning.

I finally managed to get him down but he's waking at any sound at the moment so am now creeping around the house in fear of waking him, I NEED some peace for an hour or two.

The bathroom is right by his bedroom and so instead of potentially waking him by going and using it I just pissed in an old pan in my kitchen and threw it out the back 🙂 how has my life come to this? 🤣 Dog currently looking at me with shame.

My son went through a phase of refusing to poo anywhere except the empty bath.

Every time I had to pick up his bath poo from the bath and put it in the loo I thought “this is not what I thought parenting would be” and had a chuckle to myself (because sometimes if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry)

An older child "how did it come to this?".

One of my children decided that a sport involving 3.50am starts (4 × a week😱😱😱) was a good idea. For 3 long years we got up at this ungodly hour during a 6 month long season. He wasn't even terribly good at it.

Oh thank god someone else does that too Blush

😂This was 15 years ago but we did, yes. Oh, the trauma if they'd failed to charge!

Our flat is a converted building, it has original wooden floors, so there are small gaps between the boards. My son did a poo on the floor and then mashed it in, I had to spend hours getting it out of the teeny tiny gaps with a knife.

I am howling at “old bat ears”.

I once wiped snot off of my sleeping baby (in my arms and we were both unwell) with the only thing to hand. Not my top, no, that would have woken him up. My hair.

He stayed asleep though and that more than made up for it.

When my son was a baby we all came down with a sickness bug.

Within the same week, my husband threw up in my car and my son shit on the dog's head (he was in his high chair and it exploded out of him like I've never seen).

That was a low point, I'm not going to lie.

Just worked a 60 hour week and came home and spent 20 minutes blow drying my DD’s toy animal that she threw in the bath as she won’t sleep without it…
