To not be sure which problem I should go to the GP for?

Last time I went to the GP I was told to limit how much I could talk about
I have a few issues at the moment and to be honest I'm not sure which is more important to discuss and don't know which is linked to what etc.
I have constant fatigue, my body aches all day and is worse at night especially my legs.
My BP is already low but now suffering from dizzy spells when standing from lying down even though I take my time.
I am anemic aswel, worse when on period as I'm getting chest pains and out of breath.
My bmi is now normal I've lost 20

This sounds like it's all related, I'd talk about it all.

CluelessAtClothing · 11/11/2022 11:55

Thats one issue though? Clearly related to iron by the sounds of it. So just talk all that through. If they cut you off just keep talking and say its all relevant. Bring someone with you if you feel unable to vouch for yourself.

Can you ask for an extended appointment? I know my gp surgery offers longer slots for these situations. But I also agree, it all sounds related

It sounds related to me.

When I was going through a rough time in 2019 I actually wrote a brief list of my symptoms and gave it to my GP so that I hadn’t forgotten anything.
I would recommend writing what you have posted on here and showing him so that he can diagnose you better

Say that you want to talk about fatigue. They should ask about all of those things. Then explain associated symptoms (dizziness/aches); exacerbating factors (change in position, worse at night); underlying condition (anaemia); what you’ve tried to do about it i(lose weight). If you explain it under those headings so it’s easy for them hopefully your consultation will go well. Good luck

Thanks all I'll try writing it down. I did this last time by making a note on my phone but gp still said to speak about 1 issue per appointment

Anaemia causes all those problems
