I sold a buggy and it left my home in vgc buyer messaged me tonight to say she is unhappy with it as it has a part which popped out and the buggy is lopsided.
It was collected by the buyer, and i showed her it up and collapsed, as well as sitting up and reclined.

She put it in her car and then the dog went in the car.
But when it left here it was fine WWYD??

How did you sell it? Did you use ebay, they are heavily weighted in the buyers favour, whatever the truth may be.

I sold it on another chat forum.

She doesn't have a leg to stand on then. If you are 100% confident that she received the buggy in excellent condition then just ignore her.

MrsSaxon, when she collected it it was fine.

The thing that has made me realise she has done this herself was her saying in a message that she had not used it,
and then her friend saying on the forum thread that they had been out with the buggy the day before.

Well she is really upset because I refused to pa for a repair on the buggy when it left me in perfect condition.

Is she still bugging you or has she backed off?

Just stick to your guns, you are in the right.

Tell her to pop the bit back in
My maclaren collapsed once, a bit had indeed popped out and the frame wasn't held together. We popped it back in in seconds.

I don't think you would have spent 2 days using this without noticing this problem. Too late I'd say.

TheLadyEvenstar · 12/07/2010 20:31

Yes she has carried on bugging me. Although this morning I told her to jog on. And that if she carried on i would report her for harassment.
