Please bear with me, I'm rather new.

My son has a friend, a 7 year old boy. His mother thinks he's an angel, I know otherwise but I'm not sure how to broach the subject with his mother.

He plays round our house often, we have a lovely John Lewis toy kitchen, I don't really like the kiddies to touch it but I let them today. When I went down to the play room this little boy was 'cooking' my daughters, darling toy cat, I said no and removed the cat. I left and pottered around for a while then brought them both a snack, this little 'bleep' had started 'cooking' the cat again!! Once again I said no and removed it, anyway cutting a long story short, he did this no less than 5 times in the end!

How do I tell his mother and if I do, what on Earth would I say? My husband told me not to worry, but quite frankly his behaviour shocked and disturbed me.

Unless the cat and the kitchen were real I really don't see the problem?

bintofbohemia · 08/07/2010 19:38

this is a troll, I'm guessing?

JollyJanet · 08/07/2010 19:39

the pans were real

You'd hope so bint.

EvilTwins · 08/07/2010 19:41

I feel your pain OP. My DDs had friends round yesterday, so I had 6 little girls dressing up in the dressing up clothes and then actually changing their outfits without hanging the previous ones up first It was awful.

YunoYurbubson · 08/07/2010 19:41

I feel there is a large piece of this story we have yet to winkle out.

thisisyesterday · 08/07/2010 19:42

op do you have some sort of OCD? or are you just a troll?

YunoYurbubson · 08/07/2010 19:43

My 4yo daughter was playing at a friend's house and the friend's mother got very cross when dd and friend undressed all the Barbies. Apparently it "wasn't the first time it had happened".

AgentZigzag · 08/07/2010 19:47

That is disgusting yuno. But saying that DD1 loves one of her friends coming round cos she always rips Barbies mate Blaines head off

thisisyesterday · 08/07/2010 19:48

lol i can remember wanting to take my baby to playgroup once with no clothes on (i have no idea why, but i think a friend of mine had a doll that never had clothes on) and my mum wouldn't let me! she insisted the doll went dressed

mumbar · 08/07/2010 20:20

eh??? WTF have I missed something?? Child playing imaginatly with toys is misbehaving badly. Oh help I have the devil child at home

ADealingMummy · 08/07/2010 20:26

you sound like a bundle of laughs OP !

Jenbot · 08/07/2010 20:30

OP- some of us, like cat cooking boy, are just dog people.

thefirstmrsDeVere · 08/07/2010 20:36

I cant believe everyone is being so flippant about this!

It is well known that the torture of animals is a precurser to mass murder.

This boy is obviously deeply disturbed and should be professionally assessed as soon as possible!

OP does he have any other symptoms? Have you checked his head for swastika tattoos? Does he have strangly piercing eyes, a goatee beard perhaps?

madhairday · 08/07/2010 20:51

Is this one of those guess the book threads?

ginhag · 08/07/2010 20:57

I would call social services.

Try to do better next time!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND
SOMEONE EXPLAIN

lilolilmanchester · 08/07/2010 22:37

oh how I wish MN had been around when my DS was little. He and 2 other boys went to a girls' party and the Mum was totally freaked out cos the balloon modeller (having made flowers for the girls) made swords for the boys and - horror of horrors - the boys started to sword fight - with balloons. How scary... The mother was shocked, horrified, used the word "traumatised" - would never, ever have a boy at her DD's party again ... so for that reason, whilst gut feel says OP is a wind up, can't be entirely sure.

Vallhala · 08/07/2010 22:45

Sorry Gerontius, no can do, most of us are as perplexed as you are!

amistillsexy · 08/07/2010 22:46

Is it this kitchen, OP? No wonder you save it for High Days and Holidays...it's too special for everyday use! Do they have one of these for weekdays? ROFL
