Oooh, I grew up in that area (Pity Me), and went to the School that has the pool!

PDog · 05/07/2010 12:34

Yes waterbabies and we missed last week cos of hols so don't really want to miss tomorrow too.

Is in Spennymoor and quite a hike from where the bus stops I think - will prob take me all day on the bus.

Well I'm probably not going to go out till tomorrow now - DD is still asleep and it's getting a bit late
How does that fit with everything?

PDog · 05/07/2010 12:48

Lesson starts at 11.30 so will need to leave just before 11am. How do we go about arranging this.

You are welcome to use it. What time do you need it? I'll take it out of the car tonight when dh gets home and SPB can get it from me any time so after that depends on when she is heading over your way.

Prob best to e-mail me

EasilyConfusedIndith · 05/07/2010 12:51

cross posts with the times there

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 12:52

my email's KateFallon 44 at hot mail dot com
Can I pick it up from you at 9 Indith? So get to yours for about half 9? Would that be OK? Will I need to pass on a lesson on how to fit it?

SoupDragon · 05/07/2010 12:52

YABU. Why didn't you take it out yesterday?
You are both at fault.

MN is great for coming to the rescue though.

EasilyConfusedIndith · 05/07/2010 12:54

It is fairly simple to fit, just needs lots of tugging! I'll put the instruction book with it, if you are getting there at 9.so then there is plenty of time for PDog to work it out.

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 12:57

oh and yes, tip again think I spend more time there than I do at home at the moment. Tomorrow will be huge rolls of carpet!
Am also popping into M&S to get some bits and pieces for DD's christening, that will be more fun. And as I only have one I will treat myself to a trip to lakeland

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 12:59

OK, well I'm planning 9 but I don't have my little alarm clock at the moment so who knows how long I'll sleep

EasilyConfusedIndith · 05/07/2010 13:00

Ah Lakeland

I wnet there with just dd the other week, t was wonderful. The staff are just so lovely! they were very concerned about how I would get my stuff ot the car since dd was walking, chatting to her. I was lovely. I think I may just go and live there.

missedith01 · 05/07/2010 13:01

Sounds like something I'd do, so of course YABU

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 13:02

it'll be very handy for sainsbury's but I don't think we'd meet up in the playground as often
I will make it for 9, i promise

EasilyConfusedIndith · 05/07/2010 13:07

Ok. I just have to toddle over to the Village Hall for between 9 and 9.30 so no rush

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 13:10

dammit that's tomorrow isn't it sorry
for some reason even though you'd told me I still had in my mind it was the afternoon (because that's when the group was)

BikeRunSki · 05/07/2010 13:11

DH once went to work with my keys (house and car) in his pocket and locked the door behind him! We had to climb over garden fence, get bus and stay out until he came home!

PDog · 05/07/2010 13:12

Thanks - just going to take DD for a walk to get some provisions so will email you when I get back.

And yes, I now appreciate that I was BU when I started this thread but just needed to vent. Was more frustration than anger really as quite fancied a look round Lakeland myself and really wanted a chocolate eclair from the cake counter in Sainsbury's .

Am feeling more reasonable now (esp as I did not think to remind DH to take seat out last night) even though I will have to settle for tiny little eclair from Peter's.

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 13:14

well while I'm out tomorrow I will look round lakeland and have an eclair on your behalf
Actually I saw a truffle cake I really fancied the other day in the bakery bit(yes I am there 2 or 3 times a week)

EasilyConfusedIndith · 05/07/2010 13:16

That's ok SPB Catch up at park/my house depending on weather later in the afternoon? I'll fill you in/ask opinion.

Will check e-mail later then, will need it back for Friday (I'll murder dh if he decides I can't have the car for the 3rd Friday running ) so we'll have to sort that out!

PDog · 05/07/2010 13:16

at BikeRunSki. That is way worse. At least I can get out of the house and thanks to some lovely mumsnetters can get to swimming without it taking the whole day on the bus.

OP posts:
PDog · 05/07/2010 13:17

No probs Indith. DH is back sometime on Wednesday so will be able to drop it off for you.

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 13:18

oh no doubt I'll be going to the tip again later in the week
If not, need to get DS to nursery on Thursday which is also in that area (Pity Me)

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2010 13:19
