to try and bring on labour. I have read that taking semen orally rather than having sex is more effective as the prostogladin (have no idea how to spell that) is better absorbed. I normally don't mind the blowing (DH is very sexy) but have NEVER been able to swallow although in these circumstances I am desperate . Any tips on how to stop me gagging and running to the bathroom to spit?? Have not told DH I am planning this as yet! Have namechanged as do not want to be forever associated with this thread .

I am 38 weeks pregnant with DC4 and have absolutely had enough!!!!! I am being horrid to everyone and can hardly lift my huge ass of the sofa . This has been a terrible pregnancy from start to finish and dealing with a newborn will be a breeze compared to what it's been like.

I thought something was starting last night as was having pressure down below and painful BH but nothing now. I know baby will come when ready but it's worth a try right?

My first baby arrived after a row, then a nice long walk, another row, just one bite of something really hot from the Indian takeaway that exH told me "was really mild" a massive row and lukewarm sex while I contemplated how soon I could boot out my husband. If I had a whole pineapple to hand I may well have given birth in a police cell.

So too many factors to judge really...

But honestly, semen may be okay for er, ripening the cervix but how the fuck is it supposed to survive the acidic gastric juices and somehow migrate into a completely different bodily system?
