[evil]

next doors teenage boy is having a party that they said would be over by 3am, i said thats fine, end of exams only happens the once etc.

wellll its not 4.30. at 4am some girl gave a scream (she is ok, just for effect) which set my pups off whining and barking. so i have had to come down and settle them before they wake the whole house.

i am thinking at 9am, instead of telling dd2 to not yelp and bark like she usually does on the trampoline, to just let her go ahead.

but then my other poor neighbours will get antsy as they have probably had an early start due to the party.

but 9am noise, with a house full of hungover teenagers next door, could be errr fun.

Ha ha! Yes - do it. Wake the buggers up.

PrettyCandles · 26/06/2010 06:50

Fun, but unkind. Tit-for-tat is not good neighbourliness. Is it really worth it in the long run?

Quality · 26/06/2010 06:54

No, they won't hear it as they will still be in drunk sleep but all your other neighbours will.
Ring their doorbell instead

9am? Why so late? Let 'em out as soon as the sun's up...

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 26/06/2010 08:08

Good lord 9am is a perfectly reasonable time to let your kids make noise outside party or no party last night.

misdee · 26/06/2010 08:17

i was kidding. just woke up again, dd2 is awake but outside playing with the pups quietly. all is silent from next door.

i am going to ask them how their party was though.

gosh to be 16 again and partying all night [sigh]
