I don't know whether it's the pollen or etc, but honestly, just politely blowing it in a handkerchief sometimes will not shift those blighters. The only possible course of action is a good, satisfying pick.

Yep, in private. Just got to get DH to not do it right in front of me now.

Surely it's much akin to farting - most people do it, and most people try not to do it in front of others. And a few people try to claim they never do either :D
