To challenge an interview test decision

Today I went for a series of tests to try and get an interview for my dream job. I knew that if I failed the first test I would be sent home. The pass mark was 14/20 and I got 13
However, when I got home I realised that one of the questions I got wrong was not on the syllabus that they specifically told us to study for the test. I then spoke to a tutor at the organisation who confirmed that two other questions that I got wrong, were now deemed to be misleading and potentially could have been answered the way I did so.
I phoned the HR office and asked if, given this, I could be allowed to resit another paper. The woman was incredibly rude to me and even started shouting, but eventually said she would get back to me. Five hours later I have heard nothing.
So, AIBU to pursue this? I think that if they are going to use a paper to decide if you can progress the paper should be accurate and cover what I was told to study. But am I just being stubborn and searching for hope where there is none? All views welcome please...

I think you should challenge it, but calmly in writing (stating what you've said above) rather than by phone.

Good luck

Thank you. I have just written it out in an email to the head of recruitment so hopefully will hear soon.

Top advice, thank you. They replied to the email and are giving me the opportunity to resit!
