I do find long threads very wearing. And ones I know are going to kick off. So I just ignore those.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 15/06/2010 17:40

I agree with Hecate

I thought it was meant to be a discussion/conversation/debate

So YABU

I tend to skim read and look out for names of posters who I usually agree with.

As an aside - have just taken delivery of nazi-hunter book you recommended. So do I read that or grazia in bath later - decisions decisions

AlaskaNebraska · 15/06/2010 17:44

Alaska - I think you may have missed the whole point of Mumsnet. And I find this truly quite upsetting. Years and years of pontification and judgement and you never really understood why. I'm welling up on your behalf, actually.

And what was the Nazi hunter book? I love a good Nazi hunter.

BudaisintheZONE · 15/06/2010 17:49

Nazi-hunter or Grazia??? LOL.

AlaskaNebraska · 15/06/2010 17:50

lol hassley
this is the book- is good, guy lives neear us too BET his wife is a mner]

lets mention him so he gets a shout on his google alert

GUY WATERS whoo hoo - we like your book.

Turns out that Wiesenthal was at best a bit confused of memory at worst a lying collberator, not a happy conclusion to have to come to in this day and age..

I don't think I want to get the Nazi hunter book. I can't be arsed to read long books. I mostly just read the first page

cornsilky · 15/06/2010 17:52

Why are you a llama? Are you a true llama or an alpaca or a lamba

bibbitybobbityhat · 15/06/2010 17:52

Think Twitter is actually your spiritual home AN. You don't have to do anything much except tweet. Suits you.

Nazi hunting is purchased. Sounds like classic bath time reading.

AlaskaNebraska · 15/06/2010 17:58

i did read it in the bath this am at 6. was much clearer about paths over the ALps and triups to Buenos AIres than at 11 at night
