to wish someone elses kids slept badly?

My dc3 who's 1 still doesn't sleep through - not for lack of us trying absolutely everything. Have a friend whose kids sleep really well & always have; obviously thinks it's me & that I'm just whinging about it & doesn't understand how bloody knackered I am...
Is it just me that wishes people like that had to suffer too...

LadyThompson - I completely agree with you that its pot luck. My two have completely different sleeping habits and it was obvious from the minute the second was born that he was going to be a better sleeper than the first. My second boy refuses to feed to sleep, likes a dummy, has always been able to self settle, sleeps in buggy, has a longer sleep cycle and wakes cooing, rather than screeching. Complete opposite to his elder brother. I love them both to bits regardless of course
