Well, I don't get any at home, so thought I'd set up a thread where we can all kid ourselves make believe that we are getting some good quality ME TIME!!

So come on girls, who's with me? And what would shall we do with our virtual me time?

shockers · 10/06/2010 22:45

Bet if we all really got together, the books would be put down in favour of talk though!

LordVolAuVent · 10/06/2010 22:45

lol at Nessa me time!

Stickt toffee apple crumble sounds a little bit yum chunkymonkeysmum, [mmmmmm emoticon]

tethersend · 10/06/2010 22:46

'Me time' sounds filthy.

Where do I sign?

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:46

A bath virginion?? Do you mean a proper bath instead of a quick dunk?! Ooh how I'd love one of those......

VirginonRidiculous · 10/06/2010 22:46

Oops sorry, just realised I've butted in to a real conversation. Thought you were all actually going to 'pretend' to have a spa day online....(walks backwards, bowing in embarrassment etc)

shockers · 10/06/2010 22:47

That's exactly what we were doing

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:48

Sign here..................

The pud was good, I could try to smuggle some in to the spa for us

What else can we smuggle in ?

OP posts:
shockers · 10/06/2010 22:48

Come back... join in!

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:49

You most definitely have not butted in virginion. Come back!

OP posts:
shockers · 10/06/2010 22:51

Can we have cocktails...?

LordVolAuVent · 10/06/2010 22:52

Well for true Nessa me-time, we'd need porn. I will use my Nice n Naughty Porn DVD Loyalty Card to get us some...

Seriously, though, crumnle enough for me. I'll be stealing my robe from the spa, will you?

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:52

Cocktails are a must!

Piña Colada here I come

OP posts:
LordVolAuVent · 10/06/2010 22:53

Meant to say crumble, not whatever I wrote!

Lucy85 · 10/06/2010 22:54

Sleep. For hours and hours. Without someone shouting at me to wake me up.

Ahhhh

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:55

Of course I'll be stealing my robe, and the soap, shower gel anything else that's not stuck down

OP posts:
ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:55

Oops, stuck

OP posts:
skidoodly · 10/06/2010 22:56

I would like to dance at a disco.

The only thing stopping me from reading books is that I keep falling asleep after one paragraph.

Going out somewhere and dancing for hours seems like a impossible dream. I wouldn't even bother drinking, except to quench my thirst because I'd be dancing so much.

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 22:57

To fit all these wonderful things in, We may need more than a week......... how about the entire month the world cup is on?!

OP posts:
tethersend · 10/06/2010 23:00

I'll settle for a menage a une.

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 23:05

Lol @ tethersend!! Is DP interested in the football? If so, nothing should disturb him whilst there's a game on, get the kids in bed early & then amuse yourself

OP posts:
Valpollicella · 10/06/2010 23:07

Ski, can I come with you? Used to dance ALL night, without drinking too (well, there were occasional stops )

shockers · 10/06/2010 23:08

I went to a disco last saturday skidoodly.

It was at Wychwood with DS2... a headphone disco. It was brilliant! We were all jumping around in total silence apart from when it was chorus time and everyone burst into song.

It was hilarious after we left and we were walking back to the tent listening to occasional enthusiastic bursts of song from a big bunch of tone deaf people

LordVolAuVent · 10/06/2010 23:12

ChunkyMonkeysMum - I'm busy this weekend, we have to attend an engagement party. These seem to be all the rage these days. DS is with g'parents and what I would like to do is go to bed, read (possible menage a une a la tethersend) and have a lie in, but have to attend these selfish people's celebratory do! Eurgh, how dare they?

So can we do it another weekend?

PS. Anyone know if you're supposed to take a present to engagement parties? They confuse me. I thought the celebration of the engagement was the wedding!

ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 23:26

I think you are expected to take a present to an engagement party, but of a cheek, but think that's generally the done thing.

How very selfish of these people to want you to join in their celebration! I hope they appreciate your presence, but there's not a thought about all the me time you are entitled to, huh?!

We will have to postpone. When's good for you?

OP posts:
ChunkyMonkeysMum · 10/06/2010 23:27

Bit of a cheek, obviously!! Poxy iPhone! Thinks it knows what I'm trying to say!!
