I have just been diagnosed with acute tonsilitis. I feel like im dying.
I have brief moments where I get all panicky because im finding it very hard to swallow.
The little dangly hitng in my throat has swollen to about 4 times its normal size.

One good thing is I cant eat anything. So I maybe a couple of pounds lighter after my ordeal.

I am sending you so much sympathy! I had my tonsils out a couple of years ago after being hospitalised for tonsillitis that needed iv antibiotics as I couldn't swallow anything.

Whatever you do do not eat mashed potato. I love it and thought it would be easy to swallow - how wrong I was! It just coated my throat in a nasty way and was agony.
