My son has a piggy bank and each Friday he gets £2 to put in it. I am trying to teach him the value of money and to save up for the things you want. Anyway, ex-H was looking after him (in my house) at half term last week and as he is out of work, he had no money with him. My DS said that he wanted an ice-cream when he went to the park and instead of explaining that he had no money (or ensuring that he saved some money from last weeks benefit) he took £3 from my DS's piggy bank.
I only found out when I went to take some small change out of it to put it in the Building Society.
I am being unreasonable to think that ex-H should not come into my house and take money that clearly doesn't belong to him and that he should make sure he has got £1.50 on him to buy his own DS an ice-cream?
