I know the reasons for this being cancelled, and last night, fair enough, but two nights in a row?

We're all adults and can deal with violence. It happens around the world every single day, not one day is there not something horrible on the news, but television still continues as normal.

Do you think it's a bit of an over reaction to completly cancel Coronation Street, perhaps a warning beforehand would have being more appropriate?

I can understand why people who have never experienced this sort of violence don't understand why it's best Corrie isn't on.
If you've been involved in such an incident and you flick on the TV and see a gun violence situation it can easily trigger PTSD. Seeing an episode of The Bill triggered me once.
I actually think that when TV programs should give more details before an episode airs if they are going to show knife or gun crime. I know they often say violence but that's rather vague someone who's been held a knife point may be fine seeing a gun and vice a versa.

Coronation Street is SHIT. That in itself is reason enough for it to be taken off the air, in my opinion.
I do think it is rather insensitive to start such an inane thread when such a horrific thing has happened to so many people.
ApocolypseCheese, I'm glad you're family are ok.
