....after my 8yr old DS2 came to help me find the toe nail clippers this morning, when asking to cut his nails, to turn round to see him rifling through the top drawer of my bedside table, vibrator in one hand, lube in the other saying "its not in here mum!"

Will he bear the scars forvever?!

Floppy, none of us are implying that we are proud parents because our kids found our toys........its just one of those things that can happen

ChippingIn · 25/05/2010 14:33

mumofthreesweeties - why, for the love of god, was he looking in your bedside drawer for his football glove??

Why are so many kids looking in your bedside drawers - is nothing 'off limits'?

Handcuffs, truncheon ... on their way out of the door....

My 18 year old son once came downstairs and asked if he could 'borrow' a condom. I took a deep breath and told him I only had flavoured ones [blush. He took it though!

ROFL... I've had DS asking me for a box of d-u-r-e-x at the till in Boots. Well they're right there where you pay, near the sweets, not surprised he thought they were sweeties, though trying to stop him asking for them repeatedly (and loudly) was a tad embarrassing.

StuckInTheMiddleWithYou · 25/05/2010 20:25

Don't worry!

As a child, over the years I remember discovering both a used condom and a dildo in my parents room.

I survived

LOL - this post has made me realise I really need to spice up my sex life. Fluffy handcuffs - really????

Pattertwig · 25/05/2010 23:42

I found my parents rings and things - a whole box worth when I was 23, I think I was.... that was terrible!!!

had to make sure I put it back exactly so they didn't know I knew!

fireupthequattro · 25/05/2010 23:52

No I feel your pain, my DS 5 yo has known about my "rabbit" in my knicker drawer for ages apparently.

I know this because I was looking for comfy pants in there one day and he said "that's where Mr Shakey lives mum" to the power of 300!

UndomesticHousewife · 26/05/2010 00:15

Our toys are high up in the cupboard cos dc's go through everything, but it means they never get used because they are too awkward to get at, and if in the heat of the moment we actually remember that we've got them no one can be bothered to pull everything out of the cupboard to get them.

DD's picked up a box of condoms which were at the till area in Boots and asked what they were in front of a packed queue, I said hair gel because I couldn't think of anything else to say.

Ladyanonymous · 26/05/2010 08:57

Undomestic thats why I haven't done that - very tricky eh?!

LMAO @ "Mr Shakey"
