Is it too much to ask, that everytime i go into a toilet it would be clean, and in clean i mean not been left full of stagnent piss?!
Problem is, its an elder family member doing this in mmy home and they leave it for the whole night/day, and sometimes there is poo in it aswell, it stinks, its vile, it makes me gag, and ive put up with it for a loooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg time, i just asked them to please flush and they told me i was being out of order!
argghhhh! dirty bastard!

YANBU, it's foul

I am considering making a sign to stick on the cistern that reads

NOW FLUSH ME you dirty pig

I may be a fusspot but I draw the line at being too revolted to use my own effing toilet!

Alouiseg · 22/05/2010 21:18

That is revolting!!!! They'd be barred from my house for that.

babywalks · 22/05/2010 21:18

seriously? that is absolutely vile. i wouldn't expect to find a public toilet like that never mind have someone leave my OWN toilet in that state. I can't believe they told you you were out of order, its your home fgs! Does this person live with you? If so you should just give them a bottle of bleach and a toilet brush. If they dont, then personally I would stop inviting them over until they started cleaning it afterwards.

OTTMummA · 22/05/2010 21:18

i have considered buying those signs lol, i may do so monday morning.

yes they live here, i think he was embaressed as they are of a different generation, and don't think i should be telling them what to do, but still, every fucking day, its too much, and we have a 2 yr old in the house who can open doors and has no sense of disgust, ( which is why we no longer have a toilet brush out ) and it makes me cringe to think he could end up splashing about in it , ughhhh!

Oh dear, I feel for you, I get upset when my DH splashes round the rim. You have to say something for your own sanity and for the sake of your DC! Good Luck!

2rebecca · 23/05/2010 00:11

Whose house is it? I presume they are your husband's relative not yours or you'd have said something by now.
I would probably have said something the moment they moved in and I saw they didn't flush the loo, or asked husband to.
If you're staying in their house it's harder.
If they have dementia then moaning may not change much. That's the only excuse I'd accept for an adult having poor toilet hygeine.

muggglewump · 23/05/2010 00:21

You are going to have to say something, bluntly, or get your DH to.
That is U, and completely vile.
No one should live in a home with dirty toilets and that includes you and your children.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 23/05/2010 00:36

If its brown, flush it down, if its yellow, let it mellow! Thats the eco friendly rules!

muggglewump · 23/05/2010 00:44

Yes, they are the gross rules. If you use the toilet, then you flush it.
Toileting is not for sharing.

toccatanfudge · 23/05/2010 00:47

wish someone would come and tell my DS's to flush it every time............I fear a notice would do no good - they're probably just use it for target practice

horrid revolting children - although they do at least manage to flush when they do a shit...........

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 23/05/2010 00:48

Is it water-saving, or not wanting to wake your kids?
