DS wants to go down to the prom too - it's going to be really busy though isn't it? I don't do crowds, it's bad enough at switch on and fireworks!

yeh Radio Wave estimate around 150,000 - will be packed - I don't like crowds either - I've never done the switch on or the fireworks! Feel like I should make the effort on this one though

I've heard it's starting from Gynn Square at 4.15... it may be quieter there than further toward town.

Central Pier is nearest for us, will probably go if it's not as hot as today! It's been such a beautiful weekend hasn't it? What with Premiership football and volcanic ash it should be a cracking season for the Town!

Bubble: yes this weekend has been great - I can't believe how many people yesterday were wearing the colour tangerine . I don't think I'm going to get home from work in time but noticed it's live on sky sports at 4.30 so may just have to do with that.

Hopefully this will bring a lot of money to Blackpool - god knows it needs it! Still can't imagine Wayne Rooney running out at Bloomfield Road

Just wanted to say well done to the team....I'm from "down South" but have fab memories and a part of me will always belong to Blackpool.

Did you notice that all the presenters on North west tonight wore tangerine? The weather girl had a fab tangerine dress on, bloke had a tangerine tie on etc.

Just seen this now I went to wembley and it was amazing!
There was a pary tonight at sanuk with all the players and holloway etc.
The parade starts at 4:30 at Gynn square and carries on down to waterloo headlands at about 6

Aha My mum's works in preston but lives in Blackpool she can't wait for work tomorrow All I've had on mine is either about the football or getting sunburnt.

I too am feeling 'glad all over'. We had a fab weekend in my pub, managed to get out to watch second half as we couldn't show it. Going to bring so much money into the town, just what we needed. Would like to go to the parade today but am too busy clearing up after the weekend.

Managed to get BIL to take DS1 - thanks god! Watching on freeview and it's mental down there!!
