I was looking for father / baby t-shirts for fathers day next month & came across this supposedly hilarious baby grow which has the slogan "daddy's little accident".

Why on Earth would anyone buy this? I think it's weird.

Adults can make complete arses of themselves if they want, but I really don't like it when people put slogan clothing on their dcs, who are too young to even know what it means, let alone have an opinion on it. Those t-shirts are totally inappropriate. I esp hate it when people put political stuff on their children

catz747 · 19/05/2010 14:53

Is it American? I wasn't sure - it's .co.uk & the prices are in £ .... :/
The international shipping shows it's shipping to outside UK & Europe so I think it might be a UK site

funnysinthegarden · 19/05/2010 14:56

Perhaps not American, I just (wrongly) assumed that such fanatical stuff must have come from across the pond.....

Angelcat666 · 19/05/2010 14:56

It probably is an American site. I didn't take much notice tbh before my previous post. Having taken a closer look the bit at the top says 'Home>Religion>Christianity' and 'Home>Humour,Sayings>Jokes>Politics' and they are adult t-shirts, even though I clicked on a 'baby' link. Still a bit disturbing though.

Angelcat666 · 19/05/2010 14:59

funnysinthegarden I'm just as guilty myself, of assuming that is. Having just checked it is a UK site

catz747 · 19/05/2010 15:04

I thought I was searching UK only ...... guilty too as I find it more shocking being a UK site than I would if it was US.

I do like this though. For an IVF baby

jessiealbright · 19/05/2010 15:09

I like "Stick your boobs in my face, I dare you". DTs will even clamber up dh's bare chest to latch on! (No, he's not particularly chubby there, thank you.)

funnysinthegarden · 19/05/2010 15:11

Then we have proved we are thoroughly racist and judgemental as far a yanks are concerned......never mind. DuelingFanjo (love the name BTW, brings to mind the opposite of a cock fight...) that Tshirt did make me laugh. I have a friend I could buy it for, but not sure his ego could take it!

RedRedWine1980 · 19/05/2010 15:11

I dont really think its funny- kids breastfeeding is natural- a tshirt/babygrow pointing out a child likes breasts is just puerile and makes it seem even more Benny Hill-esque than it really needs to be.

catz747 · 19/05/2010 15:15

Oh I saw that cafepress site too as they've got the pint / half pint tshirt too but I didn't realise they had stuff like that or the "little shit" stuff mention on another thread here

OP posts:
catz747 · 19/05/2010 15:16

*mentioned

jessiealbright · 19/05/2010 15:19

RedRedWine1980- hate to admit it, but I think you're right; it's just the slogan makes me remember specific incidents, IYSWIM?

pixiestix · 19/05/2010 15:28

T shirt hell has all kind of vile babygros including slogans like:
They shake me
All daddy wanted was a blowjob
I ate my twin

Niiiice

funnysinthegarden · 19/05/2010 15:32

now that is an American site (vainly seeks justification for previous racism)

catz747 · 19/05/2010 15:34

Well I've been to America & seen rude tshirts out blatantly on display for everyone to shield their kids eyes from but not seen them over here - just goes to show, we do have them here & they put them online for the world to see :/

OP posts:
biddysmama · 19/05/2010 16:08

i must be evil but some of those made me laugh pizie (the adult ones) "yes my shirt does say fuck on it.. it also says cunt, twat and machine washable" snigger

catz747 · 19/05/2010 16:21

Oh look:

"Launched in 2005 and based in Redwood City, California, Zazzle?s vision is to redefine commerce, powered by the world?s imagination."

funnysinthegarden · 19/05/2010 16:30

there you go then, totally vindicated. Thanks for that

Wanderingsheep · 19/05/2010 16:44

Ugh, I hate those "made with love" t shirts! They make me want to gag.

Some of those t shirts are horrible. I agree with what Ricky Gervais once said, that slogan t shirts is like someone telling you the same joke over and over.

BythewayItsStillMe · 19/05/2010 17:14

WIGTTFOMS, pixiestix that site is horrid.
Not sure I know anyone who would put their baby in anything like that....

jessiealbright · 19/05/2010 17:34

I ate my twin? That one hits a nerve... Not sure why, but it really, really does.

Nasty.

MinnieMummy · 19/05/2010 17:46

My brother told me that he nearly bought the 'all daddy wanted was a blow job' one for my DS but went with 'I may look happy to see you but I'm actually having a shit' instead. Needless to say he has never worn it, nor the 'If you think I'm an asshole wait til you meet my dad' t-shirt. Oh and DD hasn't ever worn her 'Hooters' bib...

differentID · 19/05/2010 17:49

Is the person who commented on this t-shirt a MNer?

catz747 · 19/05/2010 17:54
