To think "we have a politics section so keep political threads in it"

I suspect I am , but don't care frankly. I hid politics topic as I was getting sick of seing all the threads taking up my active convos, but now it sems it's ok to put political threads in other topics too!

AF, I am not presuming anything. I was on FB minding my own business, Saltire comes on, tells me her woes (which are considerable) and said she was upset about this thread and asked if I could come here to defend her. I am not MNing generally at the moment, and I hid AIBU a month ago so I had to search out this thread. I admit it doesn't seem as bad as it obviously did to Saltire, but I am only doing as a friend would.

God I hate AIBU! Even if someone tries to tell people the OP is feeling fragile, they get jumped on!

Oh and before I get jumped on further, have a and a cheery wave from me.

I don't mind one way or another AF. I avoid unwanted confrontation by not clicking on MN. I was only speaking for Saltire.

i don't understand

1. why anyone would be upset / offended by seeing threads about political things and
2. why anyone feeling fragile would go within a MILE of MN!! sorry things are not good saltire, you need to look after yourself and turn off the pc
