a converstion by saying "See you later"?

If the person does indeed plan to see one later, then clearly IABU. However, why does my local shop assistant always end our transaction this way. I mean WTF, why on earth does she think that she will see me later?

AIBU to be irritated by people who put a little teaser in their thread title ...

... so that you have to click on it to find out what the op is going to be about?

Hideous practice, imo.

I used to work in McDonalds when I was at school/college. At that time you had to do "Suggestive Selling" (yes, really) ie. - would you like fries with that?, and "Selling Up" ie. "Is that a Large one?" (fnarr, fnarr). Managers would lurk and jump on you if you didn't do it.

MadamDeathstare

Haha. I have spent alot of time in the USA. I remember being in California, and everyone was greeting me with G'day. I kept having to inform them that I was British not Australian.
