Ok, I really don't think David Cameron is the Devil, but I didn't think Cleggy would find his policies compatible.

He's a politician. This is probably his best shot at having any power. Of course he's going to talk to anyone who can make it a reality.

1: Clegg is an atheist, so would presumbly not believe he was supping with the devil
2: Cameron is unlikely to be the devil, or even a devil
3: put this in politics, not AIBU

cupcakesandbunting · 07/05/2010 16:48

He will be sniffing round Cameron's toffy arse like a jack russell round a poodle in a park, despite Cameron saying that he would not "talk" to Clegg and would push for a minority government in the Telegraph last week...

Also, if we can't post about politics in AIBU, can we also not post about relationships/schools/food/people in general etc etc?

I think it could be a feasible coalition. Better than Cleggy cosying up to the worn out Labour government. The Tories can concede on some lib dem policies, eg no taxes up to 10k, low carbon economy, green jobs etc. Both parties are very keen on efficiency savings in public sector. They are both keen on reducing the number of MPS and cleaning up politics. They can hopefully compromise over National insurance. Hopefully Tories will drop their inheritance tax silliness and lib dems will drop their mansion tax silliness. The main sticking point will be electoral reform.
