I mean dear god.

I have a visceral hatred of the series anyway, but this film was the depths which should never be plunged.

The basic message: women, know thy place.

Big didn't jilt Carrie, did he? He got the old cold feet and was about to jilt her then he had a realisation and said to himself "what the fuck am I doing?" and started making his way to the church. By which time, Carrie had put two and two together, worked out he had had second thoughts (but not that he'd come to his senses) and battered him about the head with her bouquet!

Now, I think that that sends out a very sorry message about domestic violence when the woman is the aggressor.

I am proud to say I have never watched an episode of SATC. I've tried, but it just annoys me so much and I start shouting at the tv. So I won't be going to the movie.
