Website here

"After the rain will be catering solely to children ages 7 to 17 one Wednesday afternoon per month, starting end of October. For this occasion, the spa is making available a menu of original treatments that will introduce children to the world of spa in a thoroughly delightful, fun way"

I almost fell over my own feet when I saw the advertising poster this afternoon at the soft play barn.

absolutely maisie

TheCrackFox · 02/05/2010 22:06

I think a teenage girl might enjoy it (depends on the girl, of course). Quite sad to think 7yr olds wasting their time at a spa. Shouldn't they be running around having fun?

LynetteScavo · 02/05/2010 22:10

Oh, my 7 year old DS would love this!

runnybottom · 02/05/2010 22:15

That menu isn't in euro! Its in Swiss Francs.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 02/05/2010 22:22

Dear God. 7 year olds?

TiggyR · 02/05/2010 22:24

Swiss francs? Thank god for that. Still a bit mad though. How much in pounds is 135 swiss francs?

MmeLindt · 02/05/2010 22:29

135chf is still about £70 so not cheap.

Crazy - I don't spend that much on my own facials!

kreecherlivesupstairs · 03/05/2010 07:38

I was a bit about the 1001 nights menu. 'Shimmering blue bath, sparkling beverage and candy chest. alone or not.
What's all that about alone or not.
You exotic french speakers over in Geneva.
Horrendous idea IMO.

MmeLindt · 03/05/2010 07:58

Urgh, I did not notice that. I presume they mean with another (same sex) child.

Kreecher
I know, we are the decadent side of Switzerland, you are in the Birkenstock-wearing, Granola-eating, don't-make-noise-after-10pm side of the country.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 03/05/2010 08:05

We are and it is rigidly enforced. BUT, only for another 12 weeks or so

whifflegarden · 03/05/2010 08:21

they have them in the us...I think they're fine as a special treat. The advertising on this is a bit though. Would have been better if a bit more 'childly'?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 03/05/2010 09:13

I think it is a revolting idea. I can't imagine my dd wanting anything to do with it TBH. She is such a soap dodger it would be a torture for her. Geneva is a bit more airy fariy than our area.

TiggyR · 04/05/2010 16:35

I love the idea of granola eating and wearing Birkenstocks being rigidly enforced.

haggisaggis · 04/05/2010 16:53

AS a special treat my dd would absolutely adore it. However for now we'll stick to bubble baths with candles and lemondae in a champagne glass.
