I just want my money back or a new phone now not in two weeks time.
On going saga is new ph did not work repaired 3 times replace with a new ph which also did not work but was sent away to find the fault and I was given an email by customer care that I would receive cash back or a new ph, went into day and was told broken ph was fixed and would need to be broken 3 times before replacement so said no that was not on have a letter from ye blah blah blah, to be told no customer care were wrong and I should not get new phone or cash, I have now spoken to customer care again who siad we maybe able to send you a cheque it will take 2 weeks I left the shop as was so and now have no ph and really can't afford to buy a cheap one this month I have been nice I have been polite I have even said plse and thank you but I will not take back a phone with a proven fault [even if it is repaired] when I have a letter stating they would replace the phone with a different model or make of an equal value

Seriously, email the Chairman of Vodafone. I work for another big corporate and I know that emails to the Chairman at my company and Vodafone are taken seriously and intercepted for action. I believe this is the right address: [email protected] taken from here

Good luck!

I mean Chief Exec, not Chairman...

Vicbar if only I was that brave but good on you, I might resort to it soon. I am considering saying yes I will take the cheque but I will only collect from the store I wonder if they will really give me the money. Mumbar I
might resort to your tactic also and bring 11 month old dd and 2.7 yro dn with me and set them free in the store. They look angelic but when let loose they can do more damage then a hurricane

Olivia They have seen me practice patience, get annoyed, get cross, get bitchy and question the legality of their processes I should have tried crying, seriously Euro 50 is a lot of money at the moment I was seriously cross when they suggested I buy a new ph and they would refund me the cash [where was I to get the money to buy a new ph] thankfully the damage to my phones have always been manufacture faults.

I had a problem when the DTs were about 6 months where the shop (Vodafone) were being incredibly slow (and I mean over an hour - most of which time the lad retreated to the back room) making some alteration to a contract. The DTs were hungry and screaming their heads off; I was told that if I left the shop they would just have to start the process over again from scratch. I wrote an extremely courteous letter to the CEO of Vodafone UK, pointing out that there was obviously an issue with the local management and with staff training at that particular branch and that the sales staff were the representatives of the company and their actions could damage the brand. He called me in person and apologised, thanked me for my letter and arranged a £50 credit to my bill. Constructive criticism can sometimes be more effective!
