my DS1 is still young enough to share the shower with me and his 3year old little brother? or am i (as was suggested by loudly tutting neighbour after DS1 mentioned having shower with me this morning) damaging his psyche and probably turning him off women later in life....?

why padraig?

TheFirstLady · 25/04/2010 15:14

I'm with Lilolil on this matter. I always said DH and I would stop walking around the house starkers when the children got embarrassed about it, but so far (DD1 is 12) nobody is, so that's fine as far as we're concerned.
Your neighbour is bonkers by the sound of it, so who cares what she thinks?

bluenosebear · 25/04/2010 15:16

I remember having a bath with my mum after we both got mucky in the garden. I was 10. I don't have any issues!

NoahAndTheWhale · 25/04/2010 15:17

DS is 6 and sometimes has a bath with DD (4) and me. Nothing odd about it. And when he doesn't want to, he won't.

Just wanted to add some words of support to you outnumbered I come from a household where nudity was not the done thing, DH from a household of naturists. I know which I'd rather too.

Although I don't want to see his parents naked ( ) DH & I go on naturist holidays and I'm looking forward to continuing to do so once our bean arrives in a few months. I can't imagine we'll suddenly start covering up at home either.

Your neighbour sounds thoroughly unpleasant.

outnumbered2to1 · 25/04/2010 21:19

just wanted to say thanks again to everyone for their support and comments on this. I kinda knew my neighbour was bonkers but you know that way that things play on you at the back of your mind......

thanks again

outnumbered
