Greater Manchester still hasn't lost it. Phew! I don't want to have to write 'Er Manchester' on important forms. It just looks daft.

mrbundle · 24/04/2010 22:05

Habbibu I thought it meant important/special until I was about 25 . Thats the comprehensive system for you .

scrappydappydoo · 24/04/2010 22:06

sigh - go on then.. tell us why you think this and then we can all get back to discussing proper things
(you don't happen to read the daily mail do you??)

Habbibu · 24/04/2010 22:06

Now, now, mrbundle. I'm sure there are Old Etonians still labouring under the same delusion.

Well, nubian - are you saying that Britain is shrinking, or Brittany growing? I think we need to know.

I live in a town that is prefixed by 'Great'. We love to lord it over the village next door which is only 'Little'.

EveWasFramed · 24/04/2010 22:12

Right, then!! Clearly NOT intelligent enough to formulate a thought, understand the big words OR properly punctuate a sentence. Enjoy the thread, Troll!!!

mrbundle · 24/04/2010 22:12

I wouldn't be the least bit supprised if the French were stealing bits and carrying it back to their own country. We never should have built that tunnel..

Habbibu · 24/04/2010 22:14

Aye, but the tunnel is to Normandy, and if nubian is right, it's Brittany that's piling on the pounds. The conspiracy thickens.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 24/04/2010 22:14

England is not as great as it was due to coastal errosion, there's parts of our country lying on the sea bed now you know.

mrbundle · 24/04/2010 22:15

Lying on the seabed. Thats what they want you to think.

Little / Great Budworth, perhaps?

Aha! That's it. Piles of Kent, hidden under heaps of galette. And suddenly soo many more standing stones.

BitOfFun · 24/04/2010 22:17

Nope. But the same sort of idea.

Habbibu · 24/04/2010 22:18

ooh - you're all deleted, nubian. Darned Bretons, deleting our posters.

BitOfFun · 24/04/2010 22:18

Why was the OP deleted? Not that this thread ever made much sense.

TheCrackFox · 24/04/2010 22:20

It was deleted on the grounds that it was unbelievably dull.

outnumbered2to1 · 24/04/2010 22:22

deleted on the grounds that nubian the op was a troll of the highest order?

EveWasFramed · 24/04/2010 22:22

I think OP is desperate for an argument!

EveWasFramed · 24/04/2010 22:23

Yes, outnumbered...definitely a troll!!!

outnumbered2to1 · 24/04/2010 22:37

yeah her/his post on another thread about squaddies in afghanistan kinds gave it away...

nighbynight · 24/04/2010 22:39
